LOVE AND HUMAN REMAINS is a dark somber comedy set in a dreary urban landscape of sexually frustrated 20 year olds looking for love and meaning, in all the wrong places; and during a time the city is in fear of a menacing sexual serial killer on the loose. The characters in this ensemble piece are comprised of David, a gay server who has given up on his acting career, and Candy, a book reviewer who is also David's ex-lover. David no longer believes that love exists; whereas Candy is trying to meet the perfect man, but along the way finds herself experimenting with lesbianism. David and Candy's lives are entangled with those of David's friends (a sexually confused busboy named Kane, a psychic prostitute Benita, and Bernie, a misogynistic civil-servant) and Candy's dates (a male bartender named Robert and a lesbian school teacher named Jerri).
